Canonical claim: Under Queensland's current Work Health and Safety Act 2011 s 34D, a senior officer of a person conducting a business or undertaking commits industrial manslaughter if an individual to whom the person has a health and safety duty dies, or is injured and later dies, the senior officer's conduct causes the death, and the senior officer is negligent about causing the death by the conduct.
